How to choose SMC manhole cover hydraulic press?

Customers usually use 315-ton hydraulic press machine when producing manhole covers with inner diameters of 60CM and 70CM.  When the manhole cover diameter or side length is 25CM and 30CM, 315 tons hydraulic press can press two pieces cover in one mould . If the customer’s budget is sufficient, the hydraulic press of 400 tons can be purchased, because the tonnage of the hydraulic press of 400 tons is large, and four covers can be produced in one mold at the same time when the manhole cover with inner diameter or side length of 25CM and 30CM .  The output was greatly increased.If the customer wants to produce an inner diameter or side length of 60CM, 65CM and 70CM manhole cover without adding rebar skeleton, and the bearing range of the manhole cover is higher, you can choose 500 tons or 630 tons of hydraulic press. How to choose SMC manhole cover mold?

The manhole cover is composed of a base and a cover, so the production of a specification of the manhole cover usually requires two molds, one for the production of the base, one for the production of the cover. You can also choose a mold that combines the cover and the base. When buying the mould, try to choose the surface of chrome plated mold, so that the well cover demoulding will be more smooth and clean. Reduce the defect rate without frequent cleaning of the inner wall of the mold. If you want a longer service life of the mold, you can choose P20 steel.

How to purchase kneader and mixing tank?

There are many recipes for producing manhole covers. If the customer’s raw material contains liquid raw materials, the customer needs to purchase not only a kneader, but also a mixing tank. If the ingredients are already mixed in advance, the customer only needs to purchase a kneader. A 500L kneader can provide sufficient mixing material for two 315-ton SMC hydraulic press machine. Usually customers will choose 500L or 1000L hydraulic kneader according to their own production situation.

What is the production procedure of SMC/BMC manhole cover?

Step 1: prepare raw materials according to the process formula.

Step 2: put the liquid raw materials into the mixing tank, stir them into uniform liquid, and then pour them into the kneader together with other raw materials to stir them into mud.

Step 3: weigh the mixed mud according to the size of the well cover to be pressed.

Step 4: put the reinforcement mesh into the manhole cover mold on the hydraulic press.

Step 5: start the four column hydraulic press, and the sliding block of the hydraulic press runs downward to close the upper mold and the lower mold of the well cover, and maintain the pressure for several minutes.

Step 6: after pressure maintaining, set the automatic return procedure of the hydraulic press according to the machine time. The sliding block rises slowly first, and the staff can take out the finished product of the pressed manhole cover.

SMC hydraulic press how to maintain and maintenance?

1. Personnel who do not understand the structural performance or operating procedures of the hydraulic press shall not start the machine without authorization
2. In case of oil leakage or other abnormalities, stop the machine immediately, analyze the causes and eliminate the faults to avoid safety accidents and irreparable machine damage.
3. The machine cannot be overhauled or adjusted during operation
